What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is a Raj yoga brought to the U.S. by Yogi Bhajan. It is an energy yoga practice working with all ten bodies, of which the physical body is one.  It is also called the Maha Yoga , because it incorporates everything: Hatha Yoga, meditation, pranayama (breath), chanting and Kriyas (yoga sequences). They call it a house holders yoga because, it is down to earth and it helps you bring the most to each day.

As a dancer/choreographer, Susan uses Kundalini Yoga practice to keep fit, develop strength and flexibility at a core level, and to further her spiritual path.   It harmonizes the endocrine system which has a direct relation to the chakras.  Kundalini yoga is an evolved science that helps us develop an  awareness of  ourselves at both physical and subtle levels of perception.

Susan is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. As a professional dancer who’s studied mind body release techniques, she brings a lot to the anatomical practice of yoga and embodied awareness. Kundalini Yoga is an energy system yoga.
